A good friend of mine introduced me to an individual who l have become quite fond of and became good friends. A Naqshabndi in tariqah, he will always light up the room with his green turban and traditional style of dressing. He will always go to Cyrus for a few days to go and see Shaykh Nazim Haqqani. His love for the Shaykh is evident, so is the Shaykh’s love for him , as he has in his possession the walking stick of Shaykh Nazim Haqqani that was given to him by the Shaykh himself.

Having the love of wood, l couldn’t help but inspect it and take a closer look. It had a few nail indentations and a floral pattern at the top front of the stick, very light to hold with a metal point at the bottom. I believe it is made out of bamboo but am not too sure. Holding the walking stick of Sultan Ul Awliya is an honour indeed.
