Death will come to all of us. The ending will be upon the nature we lived our life. Such was the life of Haji Dr. Muhammad Aktar, who lived his life serving others and died upon the love of His Beloved ﷺ.

Last year I was contacted by the sister of the deceased requesting an artwork to be made around a poem that was written by her brother. His nephews relays that

“In the last 2 years of his life he had completely immersed himself in the Love of Rasulullah saw. A few days before leaving this world he shared the attached poem, which he took partly from a dua and also added some words himself, to his younger sister. Also, before leaving this world he experienced the Blessed Vision of Rasulullah ﷺ”

One of the artwork has the 99 names of Allah and the other 99 names of the Prophet ﷺ which were chosen by the committee members of Manchester Central Masjid VP.

Poem

O Allah grant me your divine love and let me love those whom you love.
O Allah grant me the love of those actions which lead me to the love of you.
O Allah may my eyes see you in all of your creation…and may my ears always hear the zikr of your
name.
O Allah make my heart your home.and let every step I take, be in your direction, towards you.
O Allah grant me the embrace of Janaab Paak (saw) may he smile in my direction.and take my hand
and lead me in salaah.
O Allah let me be a friend like Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (ra), Hazrat Umar Farooq (ra), Hazrat
Uthmaan Ghani (ra) and Hazrat Ali Ul Murtaza (ra)…and grant me permission to sit in their company
in this world and the hereafter.
O Allah send peace and blessings on Janaab Paak (saw), his family and companions and all the
prophets that have preceded him in their honour, have mercy on my family
O Allah bless our teachers and guides. Have mercy on our parents, brothers and sisters and our
partners.
O Allah please keep our children on the path of righteousness.
